Earth, Air and Art Online Fair: 12th-14th November 2021

I am delighted to invite you to join me between Friday 12th November – Sunday 14th November 2021, for a whole weekend of nature inspired art, crafts and entertainment. The Earth, Air and Art fair has been created by a small group of passionate nature inspired artists and creators to celebrate and share with you our love of the natural world and wildlife, whilst raising money for the incredible work of the Save Me Trust. https://savemetrust.co.uk/

The fair will run in the Facebook event page discussion, please go here: https://fb.me/e/17KOdGJNX so keep an eye out for a timetable of events and information about what is for sale and how to buy on Friday 12th November. Then stay tuned all weekend so you don’t miss a thing. (If you click interested or register as going you can get notifications when we post.) There will be educational talks, opportunities to craft along and videos from the artists and experts, so it is guaranteed to be a fun event to follow. And of course don’t forget to buy loads of lovely wildlife and nature inspired goodies, and help do your bit to protect wildlife in the process. It’s always nice when gifts give twice.

All the artists and creators have committed to donating 10% of the purchase price (not some obscure profit promise, but a tangible amount that you will know before you purchase any of the items) of all items sold during the fair to the Save Me Trust (in my case this donation is in addition to the 20% I already donate to various other charities), so purchasing from me this weekend means 30% of the purchase price will be donated to conservation charities, so it’s a great time to invest in some art and have a bigger impact on supporting nature!!

We have all signed up to the Work For Good scheme – who will be administering the donations. We have pledged that the money will all be donated to the charity within 48hrs of the end of the fair, so you can purchase with confidence knowing that your donation will immediately be available to the charity to help them with their incredible work.

Meet the artists:

Beneath the Badger Tree

Jane makes the most adorable little wildlife friends, I have ever come across. They are available as stand alone figurines and also cleverly crafted into jewellery and even bookmarks.

Jane will also be running a class, where you will be able to clay along with her and make your very own fun banded snail from polymer clay. If you would like to take part you need to purchase/source the below materials in advance:

  • a starter pack of polymer clay
  • a surface to work on (an old plate or baking tray will do it, but a ceramic tile is ideal)
  • a cocktail stick
  • a craft knife or old kitchen knife
  • something to bake it on (you can bake on a tile if you use one)Please note that once used with polymer clay, equipment CANNOT be used with food again.
  • And for the gift box: an old greetings card, a ruler, a pen or pencil, scissors, tape, ribbon for hanging (optional).

About the Save Me Trust.

www.savemetrust.org

The Save Me Trust is an animal welfare organisation that exists to proactively protect wild animals through campaigns and collaboration.

Save Me was established by Anne Brummer and Brian May in 2009 to campaign against the possible repeal of the Hunting Act in the UK. Working to end fox hunting is still one of the organisation’s primary aims alongside ending the badger cull.

Save Me specialises in collaborating with experts and actively working to find effective solutions based on science and common sense.

Save Me Campaigns include:-

      –  Saving Britain’s Hedgehogs

      –  Wildlife and Construction

      –  Protecting Wildlife Habitats

Save Me operates alongside Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue (www.hawr.co.uk ) which cares for and rehabilitates injured wildlife, inspiring campaigns such as Amazing Grace (www.gracethehedgehog.co.uk)

Save Me works to ensure that the wildlife saved by Harper Asprey have appropriate protection and environments to thrive in.

10% from all the sales made by the artists and creatives over the weekend will be donated to the Save Me Trust via the Work For Good Scheme to help them continue their fight for a better future for wildlife. Thank you so much for joining us for the weekend.

Please head to the Facebook Event Page https://fb.me/e/17KOdGJNX to join in with everything going on and make sure to visit the artists and creators taking part.
