Finalist in ZSL Animal Photography Prize

I am delighted to reveal that I was lucky enough to have been shortlisted in the 2016 ZSL Animal Photography Prize, with my image “Making Waves”.

I love this image as it was taken on the 28th February on Horsey Beach in Norfolk. With the sun glinting off the water and the large rolling wave in the background as this grey seal came ashore you would be mistaken for thinking you were somewhere far more exotic then a british beach in the middle of winter.

I had a lovely evening with my partner at the private view and award ceremony hosted at London Zoo admiring all the winners and some incredible wildlife photography from all around the world.

With all the exotic beauty it was great to have a british species shortlisted.
